The performance is part of a "St. Patrick's Day special for the Irish and the Irish at heart," said Kearns, the group's founding member.

Kearns, Finbar Wright and Karl Scully, who make up the dazzling trio, will perform an Irish folk song before a live New York studio audience during their appearance on the syndicated lifestyle show.  (Check local listings or visit http://www.marthastewart.com/television-listings)

The Irish Tenors are currently on a whirlwind, eight-city tour with final performances on March 17 in Raleigh, NC and on March 19 in Charlotte, NC.

The Irish Tenors became a world-wide sensation in 1999 as Ireland's most famous touring musicians, second only to U2. Kearns, the group's only original member, is increasingly in demand as a solo artist.  He performs concerts with piano accompaniment in a recital format, as a guest soloist with some of the world's finest symphony orchestras, and on opera stages in Europe and America.

Kearns' upcoming performances with internationally acclaimed accompanist Patrick Healy include: March 20 (McLean, VA), March 26 (Haines City, FL) and March 28 (Williamsburg, VA). For more information, visit http://anthonykearns.net/tourdates.html
