The Wexford Institute interviewed Anthony in June, 2010 to begin their advertising for The Wexford Tour with Anthony, the goal of which is international awareness of Autism and victims of childhood trauma through the music of Anthony Kearns.

Anthony's support of and commitment to The Wexford Tour was proclaimed from the stage at the Wilton, CT concert, the final concert of his Fall 2010 Solo Tour and the last Wexford concert of the Fall season.  He complimented The Wexford Institute, their dedication and their work for kids, and said "We'll be taking The Wexford Tour to Ireland and beyond!"  We wish them continued success in their collaboration.
Statement from the Wexford Website: Anthony Kearns was in California to open the Redlands Bowl Season, where he brought the audience of over 6,000 to their feet with “bravos” numerous times as he sang songs of Broadway, opera and his homeland. Once again, he showed the great power, agility and flexibility of his voice and his ability to color notes gracefully and beautifully.

The next day, we were fortunate to videotape a conversation with Mr. Kearns in which he told us a little about his life, why he likes to do benefit concerts, his connection with us at Wexford, and the importance of education. Anthony also talks about the connection he feels with our late President John F. Kennedy and honoring the 50th anniversary of his Presidency.
